How to save money on the road!

To say the initial learning curve into RV Life was steep might be the understatement of the decade! After all, neither of us had any experience in RV ownership or operation. There are several items and programs that made our journey safer, more enjoyable, or both. We immediately found value in the Open Roads program. This program was free to enroll and saves us money on fuel, which as you know, can be a major expense in this lifestyle. Talk about instant gratification! What we didn’t expect was the value of being able to use the truck lanes at fuel stations. This little change made a huge impact. The lanes are wider and designed to accommodate large rigs, so we felt less stress trying to maneuver in that space. We can get diesel fuel and DEF on the pump, and the pumps flow quicker. That means we spend less time waiting or maneuvering, and more time on the road! This is now a staple for us in our travels. Thanks, Open Roads!
